Creating, restoring, repairing and rejuvenating quilts is what we do.

You’re in the right place if you’re searching for quilt repair, quilt restoration, or quilt creations.

I’m Kristen Edens, and I live and breathe all things quilting-related. The joy I find in creating and restoring quilts is unparalleled. I sincerely enjoy quilts and quilting, and I love to bring ideas and memories to life in a quilt or restore and preserve a quilt that’s been damaged, stained, torn, or otherwise endured the ravages of time and use; I can help.

I have created beautiful, unique, treasured T-shirt quilts, art quilts, patchwork quilts, memory quilts, applique quilts, autograph quilts, and more for customers nationwide.

I’ve also restored numerous quilts that many owners thought might be difficult or impossible to revive, restore, repair, and resurrect. Each quilt has a story, and I enjoy continuing that legacy for the owner and future generations.

I welcome your ideas, stories, and quilting creation or repair projects.

I also welcome the opportunity to speak with you, share your ideas via email, or even hold a Zoom Chat. If you’re in the St. Louis Metro Area, we can even meet in person at my quilting studio.

Let the journey begin, and let’s quilt!

Kristen has such a passion for her work, and it is contagious! I had a special project for my son--transforming a duvet cover into a heavy quilt--and it turned out beautiful! She kept me informed during the project with progressive photo updates. We are in love with the final result, and we will continue to work on projects with her!

Kristen enthusiastically shares her passion for preserving family heirloom quilts! She explains her process and schedules a consultation to look at your quilt with you, discuss recommendations for repair and finishing as well as information about the creator of the quilt and any other unique information. She incorporates all of this into a custom embroidered label on the back of the quilt. I am beyond thrilled with the quality of her work and sincere care shown toward my family heirloom. Thank you Kristen!

Kristen Is an amazingly talented seamstress. She restored my grandmother’s Quilt perfectly, with exceptional precision, and caring for it as if it were her own. Every step was detailed, and so many options were given. It was extra special to be able to visit the quilt as progress was made for further discussion and options. If you’re considering bringing a piece to Kristen, I cannot recommend her enough. And I’m picky!

My grandson, Ricky, his hockey quilt, made with his retired jerseys, pictures of his mom and dad, Erin and Rich, and some of the material incorporated, which are from Erin's blue jeans, and from a stadium blanket, makes Ricky's quilt unique, one of a kind, and definitely a treasure that will be admired forever. Ricky's mom, Erin, passed away, so this quilt is one that was designed by Kristen in a way I could've never known how to professionally design. Kristen put so much care when laying out the quilt because she listened to what I wanted, while she added her own expertise, and that was most helpful. In addition, she made a pillow out of one of the jerseys. I recommend if anyone wants a memory quilt, Kristen is the professional to go to. I want to surprise my grandson by presenting his quilt at Christmas, if I can hold off that long! I'll take pictures and share Ricky with his quilt and pillow. Thank you Kristen! I'll be in touch with another project that we already discussed! Tere

These quilts are one of a kind , personalized ,works of art. Seems a bit pricey at first but the finished product with the personal touches you help design is worth every penny when you finally come pick your perfect gift to a loved one or yourself and it's hung like a tapestry in Kristen's studio and see the attention to detail and craftsmanship and love that has been put into your masterpiece that will be remembered and talked about for generations in your family.

Kristin was very easy to work with, and took parts of what I was trying to work on to make a quilt and turned it into a beautiful family heirloom! Excellent communication and her ideas for the quilt worked so well. I appreciate all the hard work that went into this. I will definitely call her again. Thank you!

Kristen was awesome! She very graciously took in my damaged quilt and repaired it. I received quite a history lesson about my quilt as well. Found out it was over 70 years old and had swatches of fabric going back decades! Highly recommend Kristen!

My wife and I highly recommend Kristen to repair and restore any quilt in need of TLC. She did a wonderful job repairing a quilt that is a keepsake of my wife's late mother. Plus, Kristen keeps you informed every step of the way, from an up front estimate with photos to decisions along the way. Thank you SO much!

Kristen did an amazing job restoring a quilt that was made by my fiance's grandmother. She was extremely prompt with communication. She was very transparent about the work that needed to be done and the options for restoration. She was willing to work with my budget to get the best work done within my limitations, offering different levels of restoration and explaining every step of what goes into the work. Not only that, but her passion for the work that she does is evident. She took the time to learn about the history of the quilt and the family that loved it for many years. You can feel the love for what she does every time you speak with her. I was also on a tight timeline, wanting to have it ready in time for my anniversary. She worked throughout the night to make sure I got it in time and sent me updates throughout the process. The quilt is beautiful and it will be a treasure forever with the help of Kristen.

After our dad passed away we knew we wanted to do something special with some of his shirts, ties, coats, etc. Kristen met with us to help us design three different custom quilts, each with different color schemes, based on what we had to share of his clothing. She also made teddy bears out of his dress coats and they each wear one of his ties or bow ties. Our quilts are so well done, the quality is amazing. Kristen stayed in touch with us every step of the way. Each one has special custom embroidery and were tailored to our exact wishes. Definitely a family keepsake and a special way to honor and remember our dad. Thank you so much Kristen for all of your hard work!!

Love my quilt…Kristen was great to work with throughout the entire process. I appreciated how she kept us updated and sent pictures along the way. So glad we went with someone local. Kristen was super easy to work with and very thoughtful in her creations!

Kristen is AMAZING! She takes pride in her work and took great care of the YoYo quilt that my mother made. I was having a back put on for stability, she gave me options and suggestions and together we decided what would be best for the quilt and my liking. She sent me pictures and reported to me how everything was going. It turned out beautiful! She was very clear up front of the products and techniques she uses along with an estimate of how long it would take. When my quilt was finished, she met with me and showed me her work in detail and also educated me on how to clean, fold and store my quilt. She truly cares about each piece she works on.

Learning how to quilt at age sixty-plus without any previous experience was a daunting task, but Kris took a patient and kind approach with me and before I knew it, my first quilt was complete! My private lessons with Chris are always focused on what I want to learn not on what she wants to teach me. She isn't afraid to let me make mistakes, knowing there are valuable lessons in them. And on top of being a top-rate instructor, she is funny and refreshingly real. I recommend her to anyone looking for a new hobby or interest.
